We also firmly believe in the “physical literacy” program of Canada’s premier professional organization for physical and health educators, Physical & Health Education Canada (PHE) and have incorporated that into all of our programs to make them as functional and holistic as possible.

At BC Sports Programs, we provide a comprehensive approach to designing safe, effective, and goal-specific exercise programs that respect our client’s age, fitness level and health status. Using the YMCA’s latest tests, assessments and program design along with the most current nutrition information available, we customize all of our exercise programs to work with a wide variety of clients while accommodating each client’s individual needs and help them reach and maintain their health and fitness goals.
We also use the latest motivational interviewing techniques to help our clients break free of fad diets, quick-fix fitness solutions, and overcome barriers to change so they can make and maintain positive and lasting changes in their nutrition and fitness.
A YMCA Canada Certified Personal Trainer, experienced and decorated athlete and coach of many champions in multiple sports disciplines with 40+ years of experience, Bill can prescribe an exercise program that will be sure to meet your personal fitness, aerobic, strength, flexibility, mobility and functional training needs.
We have our own home based fitness gym, but unlike most fitness facilities, we are not restricted to a specific location and offer our services in the comfort of our client’s home, fitness facility, hotel room, office, yard and almost any location that our clients choose.

Gymnastics was first developed and used to prepare men for warfare in ancient Greece, in Sparta and Athens, and has evolved from its earlier roots to become the toughest sport in the world to be good at. Today’s gymnasts are the strongest pound for pound athletes with the best developed bodies on the planet whose athleticism combining strength, speed, agility, endurance and hand-eye coordination allows them to play multiple sports and succeed in every single one of them.
Our comprehensive gymnastics and functional bodyweight strength and conditioning programs work every muscle in your entire body and can be as simple and easy or as complex and difficult as you want to make them. Our programs use functional movements that are found in everyday life and balance strength with flexibility and mobility and are designed so they can be done by anyone, anywhere, anytime using their own body or in combination with basic portable bodyweight training equipment. However, there is no need for using any equipment other than your own body which is always there for you to use!

Cross-Training
This program’s focus is on functional training for sports and combines all of our personal training, Bill Chong’s Ultimate Iron Bodies Gymnastics Functional Training, and CrossFit Special Events Skill Development Workshop Series program training concepts and is designed for athletes of any sport who want to maximize their sport performance with the lowest risk of injury.

CrossFit special events skill development workshop series
These workshop series are designed for beginner CrossFitters with little or no experience who want to avoid injury by learning the fundamental principles and movements of these basic skills for their regular workouts or for advanced or competitive CrossFitters who want to improve their performance and results.
- Rope jumping series – As a founder, pioneer, accomplished athlete (national freestyle and world power rope jumping champion, North American endurance rope jumping record holder since 1994 to present – 12,496 jumps in one hour) and coach of many national and world champions, Bill can help you master the skills and answer any question you may have about these skills and the best equipment that will guarantee your success!
